Thanksgiving
Working with school counselors, the Chapter purchased Thanksgiving meals for families.
Christmas
Gate City donated money to give to a deserving family for Christmas.
Back-to-School Supplies
We are collecting back to school supplies for a local elementary school. Please bring paper, pencils, pens, bookbags or other items to the next meeting.
Salvation Army
We are currently taking donations for the Salvation Army at every meeting. Please bring your donation to the next meeting.
Gate City made a donation to the Police-Citizens Appreciation Banquet being held on May 14, 2009. Gate City's support has helped off-set the price of the event for years. This allows citizens who might not otherwise be able to attend the opportunity to participate.
Gate City Members are recognized for the support they have provided students and staff at Wiley Elementary School. Students presented plaques and angels.
